Born in Bellingham, Washington. Moved to Oregon at the age of two.
Widely regarded as the greatest high school football player in Oregon history out of Beaverton High School. He earned all Metro league running back his junior year and offensive player of the year his senior year and Kodak first team All-American. Anthony was an accomplished baseball player, drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays his senior year in high school. Anthony starred at the University of Oregon, playing a leading role transforming the Ducks from perennial Pac-10 doormats to a title contender, and laying the foundation for the powerhouse program that now exists in Eugene. Anthony finished his senior year earning first team All-Pac 10 and All-American honors. Anthony was inducted into the University of Oregon Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
