We are looking for 8th to 10th graders to join our “Junior Coaching” program!
What does that mean???
We are looking for 8th to 10th graders that are sports minded, have some experience playing sports, loves working with other kids, loves being a leader, a mentor, responsible and a person for younger athletes to look up to.
As a Junior Coach, you will work side by side with our Head Coach and the other coaches.
- This is NOT a paid position.
- You will pay to attend/work the camps.
- Your cost for the camp $150 per week.
What’s the benefit with this?
Junior Coaches still get to experience all the camps, but more up close and personal. They will get to see the set up and workings behind the scene. They will also get to experience the other camps we offer as well. Just for example, Monday, they may help with multi-sport, Tuesday, they may help with the track camp, Wednesday, they may help with the basketball camp, etc. All while learning valuable skills. Also, this role will feed into our paid coaching positions for future camps. They will also have the opportunity to participate in all the games provided since they are still campers.
- Days and hours are flexible, but we do prefer you commit to a full day.
- Your hours would be 8:00am to 3:45pm, with a scheduled 30 minute lunch break.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, you would be able to join this mentoring program at a cost of $150, vs. the full price of camp, $330.
