About our camps
Anthony Newman's Sports Camps provide children a chance to develop good character, learn valuable life skills, discover new interests and make friends. By using all of our available resources, we provide a fun and safe environment, with high quality activities supported by a trained and friendly staff. Currently all our sport camps are day camps and last 2 - 5 days depending on the camp.

About our owner
Owner and CEO, Anthony Newman, has over 20 years of experience in running kids camps. Widely regarded as the greatest high school football player in Oregon history out of Beaverton High School, Anthony earned All American honors in football and was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in baseball his senior year. Anthony was a standout at the University of Oregon in football and finished his senior year earning first team All-Pac 10 and All-American honors. After being drafted in the second round of the 1988 NFL draft, Anthony went on to play 12 stellar seasons as an NFL defensive back with the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders.

General Information for all Camps

We welcome all skill levels.

No matter what your skill level is, we welcome you at ourcamp. Once in camp, our coaching staff will evaluate and place each camper into a group with other players of similar age and abilities.

Programs
Our programs are a great opportunity for your child that's looking to learn and develop the fundamental skills of their sport. Our programs include a curriculum for players looking to improve their skills. Emphasis is placed on the basics and fundamentals,team play, and more.

Staff
The Anthony Newman's Sports Camps coaching staff are past and current athletes and coaches looking to share their knowledge. Our professionally trained staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to the campers.

AFTERCARE OPTIONS

Many of the Sport Camps offered at Nike offer aftercare.  The cost is $10 a day and will give you up until 5:45 pm to pick up your child.  Aftercare is available Monday - Thursday on all full day Multi-Sport Camps, Soccer and Basketball Camps.   You can also pay for the 4 days upfront and the cost is only $35.  However there are no refunds for days not used.  When you sign up for a camp our Aftercare Option will be availabel for an add on.  Any questions please call Stacey at 503.329.4899
